About Rosie

Rosie is a dedicated Psychotherapist with a specific interest in anxiety, intrusive thoughts, low self-esteem, attachment & relationship issues and family dynamics. With 14 years of experience in the field of mental health, Rosie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice. Her passion lies in helping individuals navigate and heal from attachment-related challenges.

Rosie holds a degree in Psychology, which provides her with a deep understanding of human behaviour and emotional dynamics. She has honed her skills through specialised training in Psychodynamic counselling, a therapeutic approach that explores the unconscious influences on present thoughts and behaviours.

In addition to her professional background, Rosie has also embarked on her own personal therapy journey. This experience has enriched her understanding of the transformative power of therapy and deepened her empathy for her clients. Rosie knows first-hand the courage it takes to embark on a therapeutic process, and she is committed to creating a safe and supportive space for her clients to explore their own healing.

From 2009 - 2020 Rosie worked as part of various Psychology teams in different adult mental health services. Within these services she ran groups and helped individuals with a number of mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, anger management, identity issues and relationship difficulties. She volunteered for a charity for 4 years, offering low-cost counselling to adults, providing both long term and short-term support.

In 2019, Rosie took a significant step in her career by establishing her own private practice. This endeavour allowed her to create a personalised and client-centered space where individuals can receive the highest quality of care. Rosie's private practice reflects her commitment to providing a safe, confidential, and supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions and work towards healing.

One of Rosie's particular areas of interest is working with millennials and young adults. She recognises the unique challenges this generation faces in not only forming and maintaining healthy attachments in today's fast-paced, digital world but also the impact of societal, career pressures and constant comparison often exacerbated by social media. Rosie offers a compassionate and non-judgmental space for millennials and young adults to explore their attachment patterns, enhance their self-awareness, develop healthier relationship dynamics, manage their anxiety and build their self-esteem.

Combining her theoretical knowledge, practical experience, and a warm therapeutic presence, Rosie is dedicated to empowering her clients to create more peaceful and fulfilling life. She believes that through understanding and healing internal wounds, individuals can cultivate healthier connections and experience greater emotional well-being.

Whether you're seeking support in navigating relationship related issues, exploring your emotional landscape, managing anxiety or improving your self worth, Rosie is committed to providing you with the guidance and support you need.
